The Quesada Family, I consider family. I’ve put in time working out of their Factory in Licey, Dominican Republic. This particular cigar has Filler tobacco from 1997. In this case it has whats’ referred to as a Doble Capa or Barber Pole. This means it has two leaves which are aged for different periods of time. I spent time with the sorters, the aging room and the bunchers station.
I remember opening bales of 98’ Criollo and seeing what cigars used them in their blend. DR Poker Stories with Manolo, Pete johnson, Bill Paley.
Acquired: 2016
