Today’s guest on the show is TTK Harris. Recently, TTK created and directed a short documentary film to educate and inspire the next generation of black creatives. The film is called, Just Like Me. I watched it and immediately reached out to TTK for a conversation.

“I chose to enter advertising because I met someone who looked like me, and they told me that my voice was important,” says Harris. “Showcasing Black creatives and their accomplishments in advertising, design, and entertainment is educational for all. I hope it inspires future generations to make their voices heard and make a living from it.”

About The Film
Just Like Me is a documentary created and directed by Havas Chicago, senior art director TTK Harris that spotlights Black creatives’ contributions to the advertising and design industry and their influences on culture. The film also exposes the challenges many Black creatives face simply because of the color of their skin and reinforces the importance of representation in advertising and beyond. Just Like Me shares stories of triumph and inspiration from eight visionary black creatives who, against all odds, made it to the top of their game and are now throwing a line back to the next generation.
